At the edge of the channel, among the fields of sunflowers,
of corn, among the orchards and the vines, Damazan, pretty
small town at the coloured houses hides, this offers
to you calm and serenity.
Let involve itself through the multitude of small villages
which surround Damazan: they conceal small enthralling
museums, true small treasures. Thus leave to discover
the castle Henri IV, museum of the stopper, chocolate
factory of Neyrac, or, among others still, museum of
the match.
Push your walk until Agen, with only 30km of Damazan,
visit the city and do not forget to bring back… some
of famous prunes !

Navigation
on the Baïse :
Sinuous
between the green hills, the peaceful river which is
the Baïse River makes you discover a multitude
of different landscapes. Long of 190km and punctuated
of 19 locks, the Baïse River, known also under the
name of “Silver River”, is navigable until
Buzet, where the cooperative wine cave awaits you, to
make you discover its famous local wines.
Navigation on the side channel of the Garonne :
In the prolongation of the channel of the South, the
side channel of the Garonne carries out the perfect junction
of The Atlantic in the Mediterranean, through rich grounds
of history and whose names evoke the charms of the soil.
Punctuated of 16 locks and several bridges channels,
it extends on 193 kilometres. Still crossed today by
some cereal barges, this channel, by the calm one which
is released some, invites to the walk in boat.
