Short Breaks and Extended Cruises:
Short Breaks and extended cruises are available on request.
These are calculated as follows:
3 nights = 75% of the weekly rate
4 nights = 85% of the weekly rate
5 nights = 95% of the weekly rate
8 nights = 120% of the weekly rate
9 nights = 140% of the weekly rate
10 nights = 150% of the weekly rate
11 nights = 160% of the weekly rate
12 nights = 170% of the weekly rate
13 nights = 180% of the weekly rate

Insurance and Security Deposit:
Rates include damage insurance with an excess of between €550-€1000 (depending on boat). You are required to leave this excess amount as a security deposit at the time of pick up. This is refunded to you when the boat has been returned on time, clean and undamaged. Insurance Excess Amounts go by Boat Category (which can be found on the rate table next to the boat name). The amounts for each catergory are:

Croisiere Plus Insurance:
You can take our the Croisiere Plus Insurance, which will reduce your excess to NIL (security deposit is still required as normal). The Croisiere Plus Insurance is priced by Boat Category (which can be found on the rate table next to the boat name). The prices for each category are:

Hourly Navigation - Fuel:
Fuel is charged when you return the boat, and this is based on how many hours you have travelled. Fuel is approximately €6-€10 per cruising hour, depending on the vessel.

One Way Cruises:
One Way Cruises are available on request between bases. An additional fee of €100 applies for all one way cruises. Please note that although seldom changed, one ways and the direction there of can not be guaranteed.

Car Transfers:
When doing a one way rental, you can have you car transferred from the start base to the end base. The prices do vary depending on the distance, but are priced between €45 - €121. This needs to be pre-booked.

Shuttle Transfers:
A shuttle can transfer drivers or whole crew from a base to another. The prices do vary depending on the distance, but are priced between €45 - €121.

Car Parking:
Public Car Parking is available around each base. Closed car parking is available at selected bases for between €15-€42 per week. Or a Garage is available at selected bases for between €25-€42 per week.

Bow Propeller:
Selected vessels includes a Bow Propeller, which is a small propeller in the stern which helps to steer the bow laterally, making operation easier. They need to be used carefully in canals as mud and stones can be sucked up along the canal sides. In case of breakdown during the cruise, it is often impossible to repair (a crane is often necessary to fix it). In this case, the cruise will go on without bow propeller. If the client requires a repairing during his cruise, this repairing will be invoiced to the client.

Due to the risks of the navigation, the bow propeller of the equipped boat you
booked for, may not be available the day of your departure. In this case, the bow
propeller will be deducted on the basis of a contractual price. The non-functioning
of the bow propeller can’t generate other compensation than the contractual price.

Inland Waterways Map:
There is a board book on every boat, which gives you information on navigation. However you can order an inland waterway map in advance (when you book the boat) if you wish to prepare your cruise. You can have a map for every waterway. Important : for some routes, you will need 2 maps. For example for the one-way trip Pontailler-sur-Saône/Digoin, 2 maps are necessary: the Centre Canal and the Saône river.

Cleaning Service:
You are required to return the boat in the same clean manner that you collect it.
Or you can purchase the cleaning service, which means you do not have to clean the boat when you return it (inside and outside). Prices on request.

Deck Furniture:
Deck Furniture including 1 table and chairs (1 sunshade), is available on selected boats that have anough space. At most bases this is free, however is subject to availability and can not be guaranteed.

BBQ Rental:
Selected bases can offer a BBQ for rent. These are €25 per week, €8 per mini-week and weekend.

Bicycles and Mountain Bikes:
Bikes are available for rent and come in the following ranges:

It is recommended to have at least one bicycle on board to reach grocery store or phone box. You can of course ship more bikes, but too many can bother you when manoeuvring and reduce comfort on the bridge.

Baby Equipment:
A Baby Equipment pack is available free of charge on request. This includes:
Baby Chair, Bath, Folding Bed, and Life Jacket. If you hire a bike you will also receive a baby seat. This must be pre-booked.

Fishing Rods:
Available at selected bases. A Fishing set includes a fishing rod and fishing line in new condition. €8 per week.
** A fishing permit is usually required to fish in the canals. These are available at selected bases for €30. Must book prior to departure.

F2P Hamper:
F2P hampers can be pre-booked with your boat, and will be ready with you boat on pick up. This provides basic food such as salt, pepper, sugar, condiment, bread,
water, vinegar, coffee, tea, milk, yoghurts, salad, eggs and pasta. Price - €45.
Items may vary slightly depending on the base.

Pets:
Your pet is always welcome but you will be responsible for its behaviour. Some bases charge an additional fee of €23.
