The 11 passenger Actief was launched in Holland in 1907. Luxuriously converted to hotel use, Actief's accomodation is beautifully presented in the style of an English Country House. The spacious flower lined sun-deck, and comfortable elegant saloon are complimented by beautifully decorated cabins. Actief's Sleeping accommodation comprises three suites - Astor, Wolsey and Nelson - two twins and a single cabin.

The Alouette, owned and operated by Afloat in France, accommodates six passengers in well-appointed cabins located above the water line. Her sun-deck provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the passing scenery while cruising through Bordeaux, the Canal du Midi and Provence.

The 8 passenger Anjodi is of classic Dutch design, specifically rebuilt to navigate the 300 year old Canal du Midi. She has been completely re-furbished in the tasteful tradition of African hardwoods,hand-crafted panelling and shining brass, creating a comfortable and charming ambience. The well planned accommodation offers a choice of four air-conditioned twin/double staterooms with full en-suite facitlities. The sun deck is spacious and has a heated sunken Jacuzzi.

The 10-passenger Athos was built in 1964 as a commercial sand, grain and wine barge and was converted into a luxury hotel barge in 1982. Her five cabins offer all modern comforts and spaciousness and her saloon, dining area, bar and sun deck are perfect for relaxation. An English-speaking crew of 5 efficiently attends to your comfort and entertainment and ensures an unforgettable experience.

The 8 passenger Hirondelle, owned and operated by Afloat in France, cruises some of the most tranquil and beautiful waterways in all of Europe: the Canal de Bourgogne, the Canal du Centre, the Canal du Rhône au Rhine and the River Saône.

La Belle Epoque has been designed with both elegance and passenger comfort in mind, and offers a sun-deck spa pool, chartroom, wood panelled saloon and dining room, together with other luxury facilities, all fully air-conditioned.

La Dolce Vita, originally a Dutch vessel which has gradually made her way through the canals of France and around Italy and up the Adriatic to the calm waters of the Venetian lagoon. Our unique cruise not only visits Venice's well known and lesser known attractions but also encompasses the outer islands of Torcello, Burano and Murano, as well as cruising the unknown and beautiful, canalised Brenta river.

Wheelchair Accessible

For anyone who has physical limitations, we operate a hotel barge in Southern Burgundy called La Reine Pedauque. Designed specially to accommodate passengers with physical challenges and fitted with a lift for wheelchairs and a stair lift for access between decks, and the doors are wide enough for wheelchair access on all decks.

The 12 passenger L'Impressionniste, sister ship to La Belle Epoque began life as a cargo barge in Holland before undergoing a complete transformation into the powerful canal and river cruiser she is today. Her light and airy interior features picture windows and selections of prints, fabrics and wall colorings reminiscent of the turn of the century era after which she has been named. She is crewed by a knowledgeable Captain, Mater Chef and crew of three.

The 8 passenger Magna Carta is one of the finest, most luxurious vessels cruising the British Isles. The ambience created by combining a traditional barge hull (1936) and fine mahogany, teak and oak woods is outstanding. Magna Carta has the most sophisticated modern amenities, including air conditioning, underfloor heating, color tv/dvd and exceptionally spacious contemporary en-suite facilities in the four full width staterooms.

The 6 passenger Nymphea is a classic Dutch design with shallow draft and is ideal for navigating the incredibly beautiful yet somewhat sandy reaches of the river Cher in the Loire valley. Refitted throughout, her traditional ship interior features a warm classic decor of rich varnished hardwoods, stained glass and a welcoming country house atmosphere.

The 12-passenger Savoir Faire (formerly "Etoile de Champagne") was built in 1932 as a Belgian transport barge. Converted into a hotel barge in 1979 she was substantially refurbished for the beginning of the 2005 season. Her six staterooms offer luxurious accommodation for 12 passengers who are attentively catered for by 6 English-speaking crew.

The twelve passenger Serenité offers a variety of trans-European cruises between April and October 2007. During the month of April she cruises between Berlin and Prague, then moves into northern Germany for a series of cruises before reaching the Netherlands mid June. She then makes her way southwards into Belgium and France, reaching Paris at the beginning of July. From there she continues into Burgundy, the Rhone Valley and on to the south of France, finishing her season back in Burgundy at the beginning of October.

The 8 passenger Scottish Highlander has the atmosphere of a Scottish Country House with subtle use of tartan furnishings and landscape paintings. At 117 feet she is spacious and has every comfort for year round cruising. Scottish Highlander cruises the Caledonian canal between Fort William and Inverness, through the Great Glen and along legendary Loch Ness, encountering some of Scotland's finest scenery along the way.

The Ten passenger Shannon Princess II is the largest luxury hotel barge cruising the Lower Shannon. Newly commisioned for late 2002, her thoughtfully designed interior includes twin or double beds with Lough views, a comfortable saloon, dining area and full length sun deck.

The Saint Louis' saloon, dining area, and bar are spacious and comfortable with a small library and music centre. The large sun deck is equipped with loungers, table and chairs for relaxation and alfresco dining, with meals prepared specially for you by Barbara, a talented cook, providing excellent regional and international dishes from the finest of local ingredients.
