Follow in the footsteps of King Arthur through England's West Country and beyond into Cornwall with its rugged cliffs and crashing waves!

Explore the remains of ancient civilisations from 5000 year old Stonehenge, through Roman Bath, haunting Dartmoor and onto the ruins of Tintagel Castle where the Arthurian legend was born! After reaching Land’s End, its time to party the night away at the UK's surfing capital - Newquay!

Day 1: London - Newquay :
Leaving the noisy, industrial city of London we whisk you off to Stonehenge - the enigmatic 5000 year old stone structure, World Heritage Site and icon of ancient England. We then head through Somerset and Dorset to eerie Dartmoor, home of mischievous pixies and a land of Giants, witches and the Hound of the Baskervilles... Crossing over 2000 year old Roman bridges, we then drive through the mysterious Bodmin Moor, home of the Beast of Bodmin and past the Jamaica Inn (the setting of Daphne du Maurier's novels). We end the day in the English surfer's paradise of Newquay - great waves and fabulous sandy beaches!

Day 2: Newquay - Newquay :
We depart for a leisurely drive around the Celtic county of Cornwall stopping at St. Michael's Mount, a tidal island with a medieval castle and church on it! We then explore the standing stones and quoits of Cornwall which are thousands of years old. Have a huge Cornish pasty for lunch and then burn it off as we walk to the tip of Britain - Land's End, Britain's most south-westerly point! Then it's on to the amazing, atmospheric, outdoor theatre of Minack built by one woman in the last century and based on a Roman amphitheatre. Pretty spectacular stuff with the waves crashing on the horizon! Back to Newquay to party!

Day 3: Newquay - Bath :
Leaving Newquay after a big party night we head back, bleary eyed through rugged Dartmoor and head to the mystical Isle of Avalon ,Glastonbury. England's hippiest town and birth place of English Christianity .The medieval abbey ruins, burial place of King Arthur, the walk to the Tor and the last resting place of the holy grail, are just a couple of highlights. After lunch we depart for one of the natural wonders on England - Cheddar Gorge - a mini grand canyon and home of the famous cheese. A drive through the Mendip hills to the magnificent city of Bath where we spend the night.

Day 4: Bath - London :
The morning is spent exploring the City of Bath, famous for its Roman Baths (of course!) and impressive Georgian architecture.You could even visit Sydney park the place where the aussie city got its name . We finish off the tour with a visit to historic Lacock, one of England's most picturesque villages and home to many a costume drama - Pride & Prejudice and Emma to name a couple, before dropping by 5000 year old Avebury Stone circle - the largest circle of stones in Europe.We are then off to England's capital city London and the end of the tour.
