Notes:
Driver must be 21 years of
age. If renting a vehicle weighing more than 3.5tonne, please check that
your drivers licence permits
you to do so.
Refundable bond of Euro 1000 charged to your credit card at pick up. Refunded within 20 days if vehicle returned safe and sound. Note American Express credit
card not accepted.
Vehicle supplied full of
diesel - return full or DRM
charge Euro 2.50 per litre
to do this for you.
Insurance cover is voided for gross negligence eg. driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Overhead and reversing damage (if you are not being guided), is not covered.
Vehicle must be checked and
signed for at start of rental.
To avoid any potential problems please check for any pre-existing damage at start of rental and have it noted on the contract. When
the vehicle is returned it
will be checked for damage again.
If vehicle returned late
a charge of Euro 26
per hour will be charged
A child safety seat is necessary
according to German law for
children under 12 years or
smaller than 1.50m. For
children aged 6-12 years,
a child cushion may be sufficient
if the safety belt suits
them.
Other useful info:
Pick up and return times
are set at 1600hrs pick up
(Mon-Fri)(Saturday at 11am) and 1000hrs drop off - therefore DRM
do not charge for the last
day.
Vehicles can be taken to Eastern Europe but you will have to sign a form that says:
"In case of using the vehicle in Balearic Islands, Baltic Republics, Bulgaria,
Canary Islands, Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Kroatia, Malta,
Morroco, Poland, Rumania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, and former European
States of the USSR - the renter is obliged to park the car only at car parks
with an attendant or on watched car parks.
As manned car parks are not that common, you can leave the motorhome at
a campsite and take public transport to get around.
A bedding set is for one
person and consists of:
1 sheet, 1 duvet, 1 duvet
cover, 1 pillow, 1 pillow
case
A towel set is for 1 person
and consists of 1 towel, 1 shower towel and 1 tea towel.

Cancellation Fees:
DRM charge the following fees -
Up to 50 days prior to pick up 10% of rental fee
Between 49 and 15 days before pick up 50% of rental fee
14 days before pick up 80% of rental fee
No show 95% of rental fee
We charge a 5% fee to cover our expenses.
Travel insurance can cover
cancellation fees under certain
circumstances. Please ask for a brochure.
