Minimum rental age:
- The minimum age for the vehicle hirer and driver is 21 years. This person should have been in possession of a valid driving licence for at least two years.

Pick-Up / Return of Vehicle:
- Before the start of your journey it is absolutely necessary that the rental agent expert instructs you on the correct usage and handling of your hired motorhome.
Pick-up times are: Monday to Friday 4.00pm to 7.00pm.

- Return of vehicle: Monday to Friday 9.30am - 11.00am.
No vehicle pick-ups or returns are possible on weekends or public holidays.

Pick-Up and Drop Off locations:
If the delivery is made outside the main office (Porto), then the following fees will be charged (each way):
North: € 125.00
Lisbon Center: € 250.00
South (Algarve / Faro): € 500.00

Insurance:
A security deposit of € 1500.00 in cash or bank check must be made to the rental agent. The full amount will be returned upon the undamaged return of the vehicle and after the completion of the final accounts. If any extra costs are incurred by the rental agent, e.g. internal or external damages, petrol, internal cleaning, WC waste disposal etc, they will be subtracted from the security deposit before its return.

Travel in Foreign Countries:
Travel is permitted in all EU countries with the exception of Turkey. Journeys outside of the above countries is permitted only after prior consultation with the agent (upon pick-up), who will give his written permission and complete the necessary extra insurance details. Travel in war zones or areas of crisis are forbidden.

Replacement vehicles:
If for some reason the reserved vehicle cannot be made available, the HYMER-rental agent reserves the right to provide if possible a vehicle comparable in size and fittings, or one of a larger model. No extra charges will be made if a larger vehicle is used as replacement. If a smaller vehicle is offered and accepted, the price difference in rental costs willl be imbursed. If a larger vehicle is accepted by the customer, it is with the understanding that he/she is respnible for any extra travel costs that may be incurred due to size difference e.g. ferry costs, tunnel or motorway tolls etc. If no vehicle is available due to theft, accident or other happenin external to the Hymer-rental agent, no compensation will be given except for the return of the amount already paid.

Miscellaneous:
- In case of accident or breakdown, please call your HYMER-rental station immediately.
- All vehicles are as new. Unfortunately there is still a possibility of breakdown. Please note: Minor repairs up to € 150 - can be undertaken by the vehicle hirer without prior confirmation. Any repairs to be undertaken above the mentioned sum must have prior confirmation. Please do not forget to keep all such receipts of payments you have made.
- Smoking and the transportation of pets is only permitted in the vehicles subject to agreement with the hire agency.
