Bergen, Trondheim, Ivalo and Kuopio are avalable only as one way rental, and you can only return the vehicle to these locations (ie: no pick ups from these locations).
Damage Insurance:
The
insurance system is divided
into 2 categories in
Finland. First category
is compulsory insurance,
which covers damages
to other party in case
of accident caused by
negligent party. Second
category is collision
insurance, which covers
damages to the vehicle
of negligent party.
The collision insurance covers damages to own vehicle in a case of accident,
fire or theft. The insurance is not valid if the vehicle is being used under
influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Also, insurance is not valid if the damages
are caused because of careless behavior by the renter or his party.
Touring Cars offers both insurances free of charge to all renters. The collision
insurance has 2400 € deductible, which means that the renter is responsible
paying up to 2400 € if he or she causes a damage or an accident to the
vehicle. The collision insurance will pay the excess of 2400 €. It is very
important to notice that the deductible is per damage or accident not per rental
period.
Touring Cars also offers two different extensive insurance coverage options to
clients, who rent a camper for a period minimum of one week. Clients can choose
to buy more extensive collision coverage and to reduce the deductible amount
to 1200 € by paying 9 € per rental day or to 600 € by paying 14 € per
rental day. Minimum period is 7 days or a payment of equivalent amount.

Maximum liability for:
- Windscreen / tyres (Cost of repair or replacement)
- Single vehicle damage
- Third party accident
If an unauthorized driver causes an accident or damages
the vehicle, deductible follows TC Basic insurance package and its rules.
Deductible cannot be reduced when renting a camper in Russia or in Estonia. Deductible
in the case of theft is 6 000 € in Russia and Estonia.
Theft Insurance:
Deductible in the case of theft is 20% of the vehicle’s retail value and lost items (minimum amount is €600).
Security Deposit:
Deposit, amount will be unstated, is required upon departure to ensure that the vehicle is returned in the same condition as it was upon pick-up.
Deposit is made with a credit card imprint, which will be taken at pick-up.
We will authorize one full deductible from client’s card at pick-up, so client’s credit limit should be sufficient to cover the deductible and other purchases that they plan to do during their holiday. Authorization will be cancelled if no new damages will be discovered at drop-off.
Driver Requirements:
Minimum age is 18 years, and must have held a full driver's license for driving passenger cars for at least one year. The main driver must also present an acceptable credit card (not debit card).
Additional Drivers:
Minimum age is 18 years, and must have held a full driver's license for driving passenger cars for at least one year.
Additional Drivers must be present at the time of pick up, and must present a credit card (in their own name).
Charges apply for additional drivers:
- 1st additional driver €7 per day (maximum €49)
- 2nd additional driver €5 per day (maximum €35)
- 3rd additional driver free
- 4th additional driver free
Traveling abroad:
As a rule, travel abroad is possible in all countries of Europe. Special insurance coverage is required for Russia, Balarus and the Baltic States. You can travel to these countries with campers, but you have to follow the special insurance requirements. Please
contact us if you intend on travelling to these areas.

Cleaning
The vehicle must be returned clean inside, with empty waste water tank and lavatory cassette.
- Failure to comply will entail a cleaning surcharge of €150.
- Smoking is prohibited in the camper, we will charge €850 if this rule is broken
- Animals are not allowed in the campers, the penalty fee is €400.
