Insurance
The insurance system is divided into 2 categories in Sweden. First category is compulsory insurance, which covers damages to other party in case of accident caused by negligent party. Second category is collision insurance, which covers damages to the vehicle of negligent party.

The collision insurance covers damages to own vehicle in a case of accident, fire or theft. The insurance is not valid if the vehicle is being used under influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. Also, insurance is not valid if the damages are caused because of careless behavior by the renter or his party.

Touring Cars offers both insurances free of charge to all renters. The collision insurance has 1 500 € deductible, which means that the renter is responsible paying up to 1 500 € if he or she causes a damage or an accident to the vehicle. The collision insurance will pay the excess of 1 500 €. It is very important to notice that the deductible is per damage or accident not per rental period.

Touring Cars also offers two different extensive insurance coverage options to clients, who rent a camper for a period minimum of one week. Clients can choose to buy more extensive collision coverage and to reduce the deductible amount to 1 000 € by paying 8 € per rental day or to 500 € by paying20€ per rental day. Minimum period is 7 days or a payment of equivalent amount.

If an unauthorized driver causes an accident or damages the vehicle, deductible follows TC Basic insurance package and its rules.

Deductible cannot be reduced when renting a camper in Russia or in Estonia. Deductible in the case of theft is 6 000 € in Russia and Estonia.
 
Traveling abroad
As a rule, travel abroad is possible in all countries of Europe. Special insurance coverage is required for Russia and the Baltic States. You can travel to Russia or Baltic States with campers, but you have to follow the special insurance requirements. Please, see the insurance part for more details. If you plan to travel outside of the Scandinavia, you have to inform us when booking the trip.
 
Driving into Russia or Baltic States is permitted with a notation on the Rental Agreement from the Touring Cars counter to present at Russian or Baltic States customs.

Kitchen - Frying pan, large kettle, small kettle, coffee pot, 6 deep plates, 6 dining plates, 6 cups, coffee filter, large bowl, small bowl, strainer, cutting board, 6 spoons, 6 tea spoons, 6 forks, 6 knives, bread knive, cheese slicer, frying splint, soup dipper, can opener, bottle opener.
Other - Dish bowl, kitchen rag, dish brush, irving holder, matches, toilet paper, brush and dishpan, water hose, 220V resource cable, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, tools and fuses for tire change, drinking water tank, water flushed toilet, shower, fridge (operates with gas / 220V) gas cooker (2-3 burners), heating, radio cassette or CD player.
 
Authorized driver
A valid driver's license is required for all rentals. Driver must have held a driver's license for driving passenger cars for at least one year.
 
Primary driver
Primary driver will be added to the Rental Agreement by Touring Cars sales office. The office will add the name, which was given upon reservation, to the Rental Agreement. This individual must hold a valid driver’s license, be over 18 years of age, present an acceptable credit card (debit cards not accepted), have held the driver’s license for driving passenger cars for at least one year.
 
Authorized Operators
Individuals not automatically covered on the Rental Agreement, as Authorized Operators, need to be approved by Touring Cars staff before adding them on the agreement.
 
Renter and each Additional Authorized Operator must be present to sign Rental Agreement, present an acceptable credit card (debit cards not accepted), show valid driver’s license, and must be a minimum of 18 years of age, he or she must have also held the driver’s license for driving passenger cars for at least one year. Additional Authorized Operator can be added without credit card number if the Primary Driver takes the responsibility for the accidents and damages up the deductible.

Service times
• Touring Cars rental stations are open 24 (Twenty Four)
hours 7 (seven) days a week by apppointment only.
• Touring Cars needs exact pick-up and drop-off times. In
addition, flight numbers when airport pick-up service is required. 
 
Cleaning
The vehicle must be returned clean inside, with empty waste water tank and lavatory cassette.
• Failure to comply will entail a cleaning surcharge of 175 €
• Smoking is prohibited in the camper, we will charge 850 € if this rule is broken
• Animals are not allowed in the campers, the penalty fee is 400 €

Cancellation policy as per Touring Cars
• 45 days or more prior to departure NO CHARGE
• 44 days to 30 days prior to departure 25 % of total charge
• 29 days to 16 days prior to departure 50 % of total charge
• 15 days to no show  100 %
