The once troubled ancient cities of Derry and Belfast are now renowned for their vibrant nightlife. Discover the political murals of Belfast on a Black Cab tour. March through history on the Bloody Sunday trail. Experience the Giants Causeway, the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, 10th Century High crosses and round towers, passage graves and Norman Castles. This tour offers an extraordinary combination of dramatic scenery, evocative history, politics and nightlife - both modern and traditional.

Day One : Dublin – Belfast
Leaving Dublin we head straight for the Boyne River valley to relive the Battle of the Boyne. Then it’s on to see High Celtic Crosses amid the ruined churches of Monasterboice. We lunch on the spectacular Cooley pennisula, then it’s over the border and through ‘Bandit Country’ as we make our way to Belfast – capital of the North. En route we'll drive through the magnificent Mountains Of Mourne and we'll stop at a 5000 year old Dolmen to hear mythical tales of romance and betrayal. There may even be time for a wee pint as we wind our way through the villages of County Down. On to Belfast then for a vibrant night of fun and frolics! Brace yourself for a wild night – Belfast style!

Day Two : Belfast – Derry

Today we take a world famous Black Cab tour into the troubled heartlands of the city to see political murals and learn of conflict and resolution. You'll get to sign the Peace Wall and learn how the modern Troubles gripped a generation. Leaving the Troubles behind we then make our way to the stunning Causeway Coast. We’ll step out onto the awe-inspiring Giant’s Causeway, cross the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge*and check out Dunluce Castle . Then it’s onto Derry City for a night of traditional music and song. *Rope bridge – Summer only

Day Three : Derry - Dublin
As the early morning mists rise over Derry City we'll take a walk along the city's medieval walls. We'll venture into the notorious Bogside area for more political murals and follow the Bloody Sunday Trail. Leaving Derry we drive through the Foyle Valley and down to Omagh where we'll stop at the Garden of Remembrance. Crossing the border once more, we then head for the hills to the ancient Passage Grave at Lough Crew – older than the pyramids of Giza! Our final stop is at Trim Castle – a twelfth century Anglo Norman fortress which, according to some, is where all the troubles began! Back then to Dublin – the Fair City for 4:30 – 5:30pm.

Day One : Dublin - Doolin
Leaving Dublin along the Liffey we head for the wild west. Kickstart your advenure with a tipple at the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world! Cleanse your soul at Clonmacnoise, Ancient monastic city on the shores of the Shannon. Explore the Burren - limestone landscape scattered with ancient tombs. Hear tall tales of warriors and wenches at Polnabrone Dolmen before taking in the dramatic views at the Cliffs of Moher - the most famous cliffs in Europe. We stay at a farmhouse on the Atlantic coast in Doolin – the home of traditional Irish music.

Day Two : Doolin - Killarney
Check out the waves at Ireland's surfing capital before heading south along the windswept coast of Clare. Watch out for dolphins on our ferry crossing of the mighty River Shannon. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful countryside of Ireland’s Kingdom, Kerry, en route to the charming and colourful fishing town, Dingle - home to Fungi the Dolphin! Take in the spectacular views along the Dingle peninsula, a magical place of unique beauty, beaches, palm trees, stone walls and Irish speakers! Spot the Sleeping Giant and the Three Sisters as you walk to the edge of the world ! Then it’s the drama and spectacle of the Kerry Mountains before settling in for the night. Our overnight stop is bustling Killarney town, surrounded by Killarney National Park and the famous lakes. A night of storytelling and dance awaits!

Day Three : Killarney - Dublin
From the mountains of Kerry we Journey through the picturesque valleys and the pretty hills of West Cork- the cradle of the Irish War of Independance where you'll hear tales of Michael Collins and the old IRA. Kiss the Blarney Stone and discover fairy lore. Walk the wishing steps, get the gift of the gab and enjoy the magic and scullduggery of Blarney Castle. Wonder at the dramatic spectacle of the Rock of Cashel, a church fortress overlooking the fertile plains of Munster. Then it's through Tipperary and on past the stud farms of Kildare as we make for the Fair City - Dublin. There may even be time for a last pint in a hidden pub along the way!
