Days of Departure:

Day One : Dublin - Kilcar
Ambling through the sleepy town of Trim, on the banks of the river Boyne, this morning we'll see the prehistoric passage graves of Loughcrew before heading to Enniskillen in Ireland's Lake District. Then we head off the beaten track into Co. Donegal, stocking up on supplies in the fishing town of Killybegs followed by a beautiful coastal drive to Kilcar our final destination. Explore the windswept and lonely surroundings of this most remote corner of the island or head to the local villages for traditional music with Gaelic speaking local characters.

Day Two : Kilcar - Derry
Start the morning off with a brisk stroll to the edge of Slieve League the highest sea cliffs in Western Europe. Then relax as we ramble through the lonely boglands and hamlets of Donegal where you'll find the woollen and tweed industries flourishing. We pass through the stunning scenery of The Poison Glen under the slopes of Mt. Errigal. On our way to Derry for the night we'll take in the views from the Grianan of Aileach an ancient ringfort. Arrive in Derry to take a walking tour of the City exploring the Derry's troubles - past and present.

Day Three : Derry - Belfast
Before leaving Derry learn about the Bloody Sunday Shootings.Then take in the beauty of the Antrim coastline or explore the hidden caves and chambers of Dunluce Castle- a cliff top fortress. After lunch stroll around a Wonder of the World - the Giants Causeway! Learn of the mythic battle between Irish and Scottish giants which created this unique hexagonal stairway. Then we'll whisk you off to the dizzying Carrick-a Rede rope bridge swaying 25m above the ocean (Summer only). On to Belfast for an evening of music and dance.

Day Four : Belfast - Dublin
Hop on a world famous Black Cab Tour of Belfast through the Falls and Shankill roads - the epicentre of Northen Ireland's troubled history. Visit the estates both Loyalist and Republican and view the many murals. Sign the peace wall and see how the city is putting its troubles behind it. Leaving the modern day Belfast we take a journey back in time to the magical Cooley peninsula the setting for many ancient Irish legends. On the way to Dublin visit Monasterboice location of the highest Celtic cross on the island. Then skirt through the Boyne river valley before returning to the Fair City.
