General
To start using the pass it must be validated at
a European train station before your first journey. Each
further day of travel must be entered on your pass
before you board the train.
If
on any day you
travel on an
overnight train
that departs
after 7pm and
don't change
trains before
midnight then
you only have
to enter the
following day
on your Pass

Residents
of Europe,
the United
Kingdom,
Turkey, Morocco,
Algeria,
Tunisia and
the Russian
Federation
are not eligible
to purchase
or use a
Eurail Germany-
Austria Pass.

Passes
must
be validated
within
6 months
of
issuing
date by a
railway
official
in Germany
or Austria.

Passes
must
be
validated
prior
to
boarding
the first
train
/ first
use
of
travel
bonus.

All
parties must
be present
when validating
the pass.

7:00pm
rule: if
a direct
overnight
train
starts after
7:00pm
on
a validated
Eurail Germany- Austria Pass, the passholder must enter the next
day's
date on the
pass,
provided
it
falls within

validity
