General
To start using the pass it must be validated at
a European train station before your first journey. Each
further day of travel must be entered on your pass
before you board the train.
If
on any day you
travel on an
overnight train
that departs
after 7pm and
don't change
trains before
midnight then
you only have
to enter the
following day
on your Pass

Residents
of Europe,
UK, Turkey,
Morocco,
Algeria,
Tunisia and
the Russian
Federation
are not eligible
to purchase
or use a
Eurail Romania-Hungary
Pass.

must
be validated
within
6 months
of
issuing
date by a
railway
official
in Romania
or Hungary.

Passes
must
be
validated
prior
to
boarding
first
train/
first
use
of travel
bonus.

7:00pm
rule: if
a direct
overnight
train starts
after 7:00pm
on a validated
Eurail Romania-Hungary Pass, the passholder must enter the next day's
date on the pass, provided it falls within the validity of the pass.

ferry routes
is offered, your

be valid for

departure OR
the country of
arrival. When
traveling at
reduced rate,
you may travel
at any time,
provided it is
while your pass
is valid, even
if all the travel
days in the calendar
have been used
up.
