We’re dedicated to providing you with the best canal cruising experience in the UK.
Our narrowboats boats are custom-designed and hand-built, each boat having separate bedroom areas, with one, two, three and four-bedroom options available, one or two WC and shower rooms, plus a fully equipped kitchen and dining area for simple self-catering. There’s also a flat screen TV, radio, hairdryer and USB ports.
Our Colecraft hulls are renowned for their ease of handling, with the single thrust and reverse lever making manoeuvring smooth and simple, even if it’s your first time on the water.
We take pride in our fleet, ensuring each boat is meticulously maintained by our experienced teams. If anything does go wrong, our 24-hour helpline is always available to assist you.
We offer three different classes of boat, from our established Classic, to our more recent Signature and our brand new Royal.
You’ll find the Classic and Signature across all our nine hire bases, with the Crown everywhere apart from Oxfordshire (Lower Heyford) and Cambridgeshire (Ely).
Narrowboat Specifications:
All our UK canals narrowboats have water-cooled engines, full central heating, showers, superior macerator toilets, cookers, fridges (with a small freezer unit), TV and radio plus smoke and CO alarms.
Each range has its own set of specifications but the different names indicate different layouts and the number of berths that each boat has. For example, the Princess 2 is a one-bedroom boat but it differs from the Duchess 2 in that the layout is different – the Princess 2 has a bedroom at the front of the boat, and the Duchess 2 has a bedroom at the rear of the boat. However, most of the internal specifications are the same.
Some one-bedroom boats have the option for the seating area in the lounge to be made up into a second bed. Please check the individual descriptions for further details when you hire canal boats from our collection.

| Our Signature range feature a modern, stylish design and come with more enhanced features than our Classic range, such as more worktop space and a microwave in the kitchen, added comfort with black-out blinds in the bedrooms, plus modern necessities such as multiple USB sockets, wireless charging pads and a flat-screen TV. |
