Please Note:
that a vehicle group can have different vehicle types. Only a vehicle group can be reserved, not a certain vehicle within this group.
The
drop off time shown on the rental contract is binding.
At this time the vehicle has to be returned clean inside
and empty. It is not possible to do the inside cleaning
in the depots. This has to be done in advance (e.g. at
a gas station with vacuum cleaners).
The
rental ends in the moment we can do the drop off procedure
with inside and outside check. If the drop off procedure
can be done only after scheduled drop off time we will
charge EUR 30 per commenced hour (up to the full
daily rate).
The above rates include:

**German Law states that all children 12 years
and under OR smaller than 1.50m is required to be in a child
seat. For children from 6 to 12 years, a child booster seat may be sufficient if the safety belt suits them.
The minimum age of Tenant and the drivers shall be 25 years of age. Driving licence Class 3, for all models. Class B for vehicles with an admissible total weight of up to 3,500 kg and Class C1 for a total weight of more than 3,500 kg. Drivers with Class B and C1 driving licences must have been in possession of the driving licence for at least three years. (Most Australian Drivers licences allow up to 4,500 kg,
but
please
double check).
Client will have to show Passport & current driver's licence at pick up (must be original documents).

Premium per day: € 20.80 - Deductible CDW for each claim is € 350 of the reimbursable damage.
Camper Interior Insurance:
Offers insurance cover for liability risks in everyday life in the event of damage caused by the insured person to the interior and to
fixtures (damage to property) of motorhomes and trailer caravans rented by the insured person. Sum insured: 2,500 per trip. Deductible: 250 for each claim.
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) Reduction of Deductible:
Reimbursement of the contractually owed and charged deductible if the rental vehicle
is stolen during the term of the rental agreement or is damaged or destroyed in an accident while on a public road. Sum insured: up to 1,500 of the contractually
owed and charged deductible. Deductible: The deductible is 350 of the reimbursable damage for each claim.
Travel Cancellation Insurance:
Reimbursement of cancellation fees if you dont take the trip, or the added cost of outbound travel if you start the trip late for a covered
reason. Deductible: 20% of the reimbursable loss (at least 25 per property).
Travel Curtailment Insurance:
Reimbursement of the added cost of return travel in the same mode and quality as the booked covered trip and partial travel
costs for the unused travel services at the location in case of unplanned termination of the trip for a covered reason. Deductible: 20% of the reimbursable loss (at least 25 per property).
Luggage Insurance: Sums insured: 6,000 per property.

The security
deposit of EUR 1,500.00 has to be paid with Visa or MasterCard
(no American Express, no Diners) when the client picks up
the vehicle. The amount will be just reserved and the reservation
is cancelled automatically after 30 days. In case of long
time rentals (from 25 days on) the deposit will be charged
from the card.
DRM cannot stand for changes in exchange rates
during the rental or fees from the credit card company. Please
note American Express / Diners credit cards are not accepted.
The security deposit will be refunded to client's credit card account by the DRM head office. This process can take up to 10-14 working days for organizational reasons.
- The renter has to show
his passport and his current
driver's license when he
picks up the vehicle. Only original documents are accepted.
- Vehicle supplied full of
diesel - return with Full
tank of diesel or DRM charge EUR 2.50 per litre
to do this for you.
- Insurance cover is voided for gross negligence eg. driving under the influence
of drugs or alcohol.
- Overhead and reversing damage (if you are not being guided), is not covered.
- Vehicle must be checked and signed for at start of rental. The detailed
explanation and demonstration on the use of the vehicle will take about 30 to
60 minutes. The explanation of the motorhome by our depot staff is only possible
in German or English.
- To avoid any potential problems
please check for any pre-existing damage at start of rental and have it
noted on the contract. When the vehicle is returned it will be
checked
for damage again.
- If vehicle returned late a charge of EUR 30 per hour will
be charged.
- Maps or road maps cannot be supplied br DRM.
- Transportation to and from the rental depots cannot be provided.
- Taxi costs are not refundable
- Please note that Austria has a toll fee system for their highways for vehicles with more than 3.5 tons total permissible weight ("GO-box"). All vehicles of group E1 are already equipped with a GO-box. At drop off the road toll will be checked online and client has to pay the open amount with credit card or in cash. The open amount for road toll cannot be deducted from the deposit. For vehicles with less than 3.5 tons client has to buy a sticker for the windscreen at a gas station before he enters Austria.

The kitchen set is for the booked persons and consists of: dishes, soup plates, coffee cups & saucers, salad bowl, small bowls, water glasses, knives, forks, soup spoons, teaspoons, wooden spoon, ladle, spatula, corkscrew, can opener, bread knife, cutting board, kitchen knife, coffee filter holder, thermos flask, pots and pan.

interior cleaning may be higher if necessary.
DRM requires that all clients have a good enough standard of English or German to understand the complete procedure of pick up / returning, the handling of the vehicle, the rules and regulations, the documents clients have to sign and communication when on the road.
If DRM feel the client does not understand English or German, they reserve the right to refuse to hand over the vehicle and there will be no refund.
A special authorization is
needed if clients wish to
travel to Eastern and some
Southern European states.
This authorization has to
be signed in the depot at
pick up.
The entry to the following countries
is allowed without authorisation:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Great Britain, Ireland,
Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
** The entry to the following countries
is allowed only with authorisation: **
Albania, Bosnia-Herzegowina, Canary Islands, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece,
Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Poland,
Serbia and Montenegro and Slovakia.
The entry to the following
countries is Forbidden:
Belarus, Bulgaria, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Moldova, Morocco, Romania, Russia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.
For countries not listed
here please ask on request. Please note that it can be more
difficult to get help in case of an accident or technical
problems when clients travel to Northern Scandinavia, Eastern Europe or Non-European
countries
Clients have to register to this system online before they enter Norway. Unfortunately this registration is only possible after pick up of the vehicle. Please see here for more details 148kb
Pick up and Drop off on a Saturday is available between May and October.
A fee of EUR € 75 applied for each pick up and drop off on a Saturday.
- From January to April and November to December:

If a renter shortens their hire period by more than a week - it may be treated as a cancellation of the whole booking and a re-booking. This depends on when the amendment takes place and how many days of hire are being cancelled. Please ensure you always have travel insurance in place.
