Saturday Pick up and Drop off:
Pick up and drop off on a Saturday is available however additional charges to apply.
If you collect on a Saturday you must pay from the Friday (ie: 1 additional day)
If you return on a Saturday you must pay until the Monday (ie: 2 additional days)

Minimum Rental Period:
Low Season - 5 Days
Mid Season - 7 Days (5 days when taking unlimited kms)
High Season - 15 Days

Weekend Rates:
Weekend Rates apply for short breaks commencing on Friday at 4pm and returning on Monday at 4pm. .

Security Deposit:
A security deposit of € 1500 / 2000 is required at the time of pick up.
This is refunded when the vehicle is returned on time, clean, with no damage and no fines or infringments.

Additional Kilometers:
If you go over the pre-paid kilometer amount, you will be charged for the additional kilometers when you return the vehicle. These are charged at € 0.30 per kilometre.

Additional Drivers:
Second driver is free of charge. Additional drivers must have a full drivers licence.

Minimum Age:
21 years of age.

Insurance:
RCA: Third party insurance and property damage liability up to € 2,580,000.

MAA Assistance Policy: Service and assistance for technical failure or accident within the limits stated in the policy.

Theft and Fire: Coverage for partial or the whole loss of vehicle due to theft, robbery or fire in excess of the deposit amount.

CDW or Casko: Coverage for damages to the vehicle in excess of € 1,500  for each event.

Excess Reduction Option:
Insurance excess of € 1,500 can be reduced to € 750 by paying a waiver of € 15 per day. (Minimum fee € 75)

Cleaning Service Fee:
A fee of € 50 minimum.

Emptying Tanks:
A fee of € 20 for each tank.

One Way Rentals:
One Way Rentals within Italy may permitted on a request basis outside of High Season. No International one ways are allowed.

The depot is open Monday to Saturday all year round.
The depot is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays all year round.

Pick Up:
Monday: 6pm to 7pm
Tuesday to Friday: 4pm to 7pm,
Saturday: 9:30am to 1pm

Please note: pick up is possible on Saturday afternoon or outside official time with extra fee of EUR 50 on delivery.

Drop Off:
Monday to Thursday and Saturdays: 9:30am to 1pm
Fridays: 9am to 10am

Air Conditioning:
1) Engine air-conditioning, now on all vehicles:
- it costs EUR 8 per day with a Maximum amount of EUR 200
- it is compulsory from May to October

2) 220v air-conditioning, available on request on a few vehicles only
- it costs EUR 8.00 per day with a Minimum amount of EUR 100
- it is optional
- there is not a maximum amount but we can offer discounts for long rental periods.

If a clients wish both air-conditioning, here are some examples:
- for 11 rental days on July: Euro 88 for engine air-conditioning + Euro 100 for 200v air-conditioning
- for 29 rental days on July: Euro 200 for engine air-conditioning + Euro 145 for 200v air-conditioning

Vehicle Cleaning:
Applicable only if the vehicle is unclean on delivery: € 20 if waste-water tanks are not emptied, € 50 if interior of the vehicle is not clean.

Free parking Area:
Clients' cars can be parked inside Freedom Holiday's depot for the duration of the rental period.

Pets:
Pets are allowed in the vehicles.
If the vehicle is returned damaged or dirty as a result of having your pet, additional fees will apply.

Shortening of Rental Period:
If a renter shortens their hire period by more than a week - it may be treated as a cancellation of the whole booking and a re-booking. This depends on when the amendment takes place and how many days of hire are being cancelled. Please ensure you always have travel insurance in place.

Mechanical Failure and Repairs:
Any expenses incurred by the client which are not his responsibility will be refunded on arrival, upon producing the invoice showing the relevant parts replaced, and made out to Freedom Holiday. Tyre repairs will not be refunded (punctures, bursts, etc.) 

Cancellation Fees:
- 1) outside 30 days prior to pick up - we refund 50% of the 30% paid in advance (15% of the total amount).
- 2) 15 - 30 days prior to pick up time - 30% (paid in advance.)
- 3) 01 - 15 days prior to pick up time - 100%.
