Barcelona Airport Transfers
Pick up at Barcelona Airport - € 200 per vehicle

GPS Rental:
GPS is available on a first come first serve basis. This can not be pre-booked
and is only available for rental when you arrive at the depot to collect your
vehicle. A security deposit of EUR € 261 is required when renting GPS and
this will be refunded when the GPS is returned on time, undamaged and in the
same condition as it was taken.
Saturday Pick
Up and Drop Off:
Pick up and Drop off on a Saturday is available.
A fee of EUR € 66 applied for each pick up and drop off on a Saturday. Depots
are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Pick up and Drop Off Times:
Pick up and drop off times vary between depots and depending on the day of the week. Generally pick up times are between 4pm - 5.30pm and drop off times are between 10am - 12pm. Specific depot times will be listed on your free quote. (Madrid Pick up - 5pm to 6pm)

Late & Early
Dropoffs:
If
the vehicle is returned
after the time that
was agreed in writing,
we charge € 30
for every extra hour
or part of an hour
and pass on any claims
for compensation
for damages that
may be asserted by
the next renter or
another person due
to a late receipt
of the vehicle. If
the vehicle is returned
before the expiration
of the agreed rental
period - there is
no refund for unused
days unless the vehicle
can be rented to
another party.
Drivers Age
and Licence:
Minimum age is 25 years, and must have held a full drivers licence for
a minimum of 2 years. No maximum age. For some vehicles you are required to
hold a licence that allows you to drive a vehicle over 3.5 tonnes. Please check
vehicle weight and your licence.
Additional Drivers:
No Fee. Maximum of 2 drivers per vehicle.
Vehicle Age:
All vehicles are less than 3 years old.
Parking at Depot:
Car Parking is available at depots free of charge except Denia (not available) and at Malaga there is a € 5 per day surcharge. Please enquire with us for more details.
Security
deposit / Refundable bond:
The security deposit of € 750 must be paid at the
start of a rental.
Refunded if the vehicle is returned in a proper condition and after the final
settlement of the rental contract by McRent HQ. Accepted credit cards are Mastercard & Visa.
Liability
and Comprehensive Insurance Protection:
The renter bears the costs of any damage that occurs
during the rental period while using the vehicle in accordance
with the contract up to € 750 per
case of damage.
If the damage
is caused by intent or gross negligence, especially if
the renter was unable to drive due to the consumption of
drugs or alcohol, the liability limitation does not apply.
The same applies to any damage caused by not observing
traffic sign 265 (maximum vehicle height on a road). Despite
the agreed limitation of liability, the renter is moreover
fully liable for any damage caused by failure to observe
the vehicle dimensions (vehicle height and width), by improper
loading and unloading and by the load or by driving backwards
without being directed.
The renter is
liable for any damages claimed by a third party against
him/her or against McRent that the renter has caused to
a third party during the use of the object of rental. The
renter is liable for all fees, levies, fines, and punishments
that are imposed on the lessor in connection with the use
of the vehicle unless they are caused by fault of the lessor.
Substitute
Vehicle:
In case the reserved vehicle cannot be made available at the rental station,
the lessor reserves the right to provide a vehicle that is comparable in size
and equipment or bigger. That will not cause any additional rental costs for
the renter. If a smaller vehicle is offered and accepted by the renter, the
price difference of both vehicles is reimbursed. If the provision of a bigger
vehicle causes higher ancillary costs, such as ferry charges and tolls or operating
costs, such costs are to be borne by the renter.
Trips
Abroad:
It is possible to make trips abroad within Europe. Any trips to East European
countries are subject to the lessor's prior approval. Trips to any war
and unstable zones are forbidden.

Smoking and Pets:
Smoking is not permitted in any vehicles.
Pets may be allowed on a request basis.

Shortening of Rental Period:
If a renter shortens their hire period by more than a week - it may be treated as a cancellation of the whole booking and a re-booking. This depends on when the amendment takes place and how many days of hire are being cancelled. Please ensure you always have travel insurance in place.
