Calculating Seasons:
The hire price is determined by the departure date according to the tariff periods above. If your cruise covers 2 tariff periods, the price will be calculated pro rata taking the number of nights aboard in each period. A full week includes 7 nights aboard.

Essential Extras:

*Security deposit is to cover costs for: Fuel, Cleaning, Grounding Fee, Bike Damage or loss.
**Fuel Prices are subject to change as fuel prices change.

One Way Cruises:
One Way Cruises are available on request between bases, with a minimum of one week. An additional fee of €100 applies for all one way cruises. If you have parked your car at the start base, this can be transfered to the end base for a fee of €125 (with the exception of rental vehicles). Please note that although seldom changed, one ways and the direction there of can not be guaranteed.

Short Breaks:
Short breaks of 3 or more nights can be taken on all return-to-base cruises and are highlighted with the short break symbol . They must be completed by 18th June 2010 or depart after 23rd August 2010. Short breaks can also be taken in the peak summer period up to 4 weeks before departure. Boats are available for short breaks from 16:00 on the day of departure and must be returned by 09:00 on the last day.
These are calculated as follows:

Calculating the cost of your short break. To calculate the cost of your short break multiply the weekly boat hire cost by the relevant discount for the duration of your short break (e.g. x 0.55). Then add on the cost of your Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) per week for your boat (or make an allowance for the refundable damage deposit) and any optional extras you may wish to book. Don’t forget to include Le Boat’s holiday insurance if you do not already have cover. For one-way supplements and an approximate fuel cost for your boat type and cruising area.

Extra nights are subject to availability. A Supplement of €150 will be charged if your short break takes place over a Bank Holiday Weekend.

Long Cruises:
Cruises of 9 days, 10 days and 11 days are available from all bases. This is priced based on the number of nights you wish to take.

Priority Boarding and Late Checkout:
Normally boats are ready for collection from 16:00 onwards on the day of departure
and are due for return on 09:00 on the final day of your holiday. However, subject to
operational constraints, it may be possible for you to collect your boat between 12:00
midday and 13:00, giving you an extra afternoon's cruising. It may also be possible to
return your boat on the final day at 12:00 midday, giving you an extra morning's cruising.

Damage Insurance:
All boats are fully covered for damage and damage to other property or vessels, with a damage excess of €1500 per incident. The following damage waiver options are available: (Please note: insurance options below do not covers bikes).

Departure and Return:
Departures in France take place on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
Vessels are available from 4pm on the day of departure, and must be returned by 9am on the return day.

Driver and Passenger Requirements:
Hirers must be over 18 years of age.
The minimum number of people required to hire a boat is 2 adults. The number of passengers
on board may not exceed the maximum amount of passengers the boat is licensed for.

Cancellation and Amendment Fees:

Should you request a major alteration within 10 weeks of departure date (such as a change of date or area) or if you want to amend your holiday departure date to a date not within the current year then this will be treated as a cancellation and re-booking
